Even though I’m still skinny, I’m working out at least 4 days a week, and I recommend everyone do the same—no matter your age or physical condition. Just lift lighter weights if needed, but exercise forces your body to maintain high mitochondrial numbers. Without it, mitochondria decrease over time, leading to deterioration and disease.
Remember, your beauty and wellness are directly tied to your mitochondria count. Invest in good supplements, exercise, and practice fasting—these will reduce wrinkles more effectively than any skincare product. Real rejuvenation happens when you counteract the hallmarks of aging, one of which is mitochondrial decline. Most ultraprocessed foods and beverages can reduce your mitochondria, so choose wisely.
Nutritional Supplements for mitochondrial biogenesis:
For individuals over 40, there is a significant decline in mitochondrial health, which worsens after contracting COVID. This explains the fatigue many experience post-COVID, including older adults. Such harm can be detrimental to your mitochondria, particularly from toxins present in GMOs, seed oils, ultra-processed foods, beverages, and medications.
